eBay has long been a leading marketplace for the buying and selling of tyres and other vehicle parts and accessories. But in a bid to boost our proposition for buyers and sellers alike, we’re proud to now offer trusted, convenient tyre installation services in partnership with WhoCanFixMyCar.
To accommodate this service for sellers, there will be some minor changes on eBay.
What changes are being made to eBay?
- New item specifics are now required in the Wheels & Tyres category for all new and revised listings. Sellers must include accurate information, such as: tyre width, aspect ratio, rim diameter and unit quantity, so we can pass this onto fitters.
- The option for “multi-sku” has been removed. Sellers can instead now use the “multi-buy” option to incentivise buyers to increase basket size.
- To help sellers raise awareness of the proposition and drive sales, we’ve also created this dedicated tyre installation page for buyers.
How does the tyre installation service work?
Buyers can book an installation appointment at a time and location of their choosing along with eligible tyre orders.
WhoCanFixMyCar will arrange the appointment and you’ll receive the garage details to send the tyre order to.
The buyer arrives at the garage at the allotted time to get their tyres installed. It’s as simple as that!

- Installation is currently available for eligible listings in the Car Tyres category (179680).
- Please note, only new tyres will be eligible to help fitters provide a better experience for buyers.
- Currently, our tyre installation service is only available to Above Standard and Top Rated sellers.
