Panasonic TZ40
This is another great camera from Panasonic. Excellent pictures, excellent audio and surprisingly good sound if it is not too windy. The zoom range is amazing. Perhaps if anything it makes the zoom a bit too vigorous. I have not looked into whether you can control the zoom speed but that is the only short coming. It is very small. Having no optical viewfinder it can be a little difficult to see the screen in direct sunlight. Always a good idea to keep cameras like this in a case and not to put straight in your pocket as lint can build up around the lens. This can then be sucked inside when the lens extends and then find its way onto the sensor.
Overall a great little camera and I believe it is still worth taking around a camera like this rather than relying on your phone.

Sennheiser ME2
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a reliable and good quality lapel microphone suitable for sound reinforcement and recording purposes plugging into Sennheiser radio mics and many recorders as long as they offer phantom volts and have a 3.5mm socket.
The ME2 does not give the top audio quality in their range of products but neither is it the most expensive so you pay for what you get. For most ears it would be quite adequate.
