Works great for me
Im using it with pioneer sph-da250dab double din unit
I found running it parallel, along side any positive cables caused the signal to be lost,(specifically in my case - dash cam to cigarette lighter socket wire) ran it separately and it works just fine.
Upon the initial start up of my head unit and first set up questions there was one about the antenna needing a power source, “yes or no option” can’t remember the exact wording but I pressed yes. There must be some fancy ones that require it’s own power and ground... idk who cares anyway it worked for me.
