NEW UNDER COUNTER DOUBLE OVEN.
I brought this to replace the New World single oven that we fitted when I put our new kitchen in in 2007. I decided that this time I would remove the bottom draw under the cooker I had fitted when putting in the Kitchen and fit one of these Belling double ovens. I had fitted the 190g cooker which is a 900mm last year in my daughters house when I fitted her a new Kitchen and I thought it looked nice and well made, so my wife said she would like one. The 170g is a 700mm and you have a smaller top oven with an electric grill and it will fit in a tall oven housing unit or under the work surface and it then comes down to the top of the plinth you fit under the base units. It comes with fitting brackets and 9 times out of ten you have to cut out the bottom shelf of the 600 unit to fit the brackets as it needs a 5mm clearance for air circulation at the top just under the work tops. The cooker is realy handy as my wife said the other day she cooked our grand kids some cakes in the top oven whilst cooking our dinner in the bottom oven which is a bonus to the old cooker as she would have had to wait to cook either separatley before. The one thing I did notice was how quiet the oven fan was when you have turned the cooker of to the old new world one we had you can only just hear it running.I have heard other people moan about the fan running on for ten minutes after the cooker is switched of but its built like that to cool down the oven so to me thats a good thing and now't to be moaning about. The cooker looks great in the kitchen miles better than the old one and I even brought a new JSI 5 burner Hob with a wok burner on the side in black glass and they compliment each other so the wifes well pleased. The cooker looks and feels good quality and yes it is a bit more expensive than some gas cookers you can buy but I always say sometimes you get what you pay for and quality don't always come cheap.
