Good enough for me
I'm an apprentice carpenter and bought this for private jobs on the weekends.
The impact driver is pretty good and with a 5 amp battery lasts forever, the power is consistent and overall is quite light and great power
The combi drill is OK at best its only a 2 speed and is surprisingly heavy compared to its power output the drill is basically the same as other cheaper makita drills from 10 years ago with the magazine battery this is probably the weakest tool in the whole kit but it does do the job and is very durable.
The SDS overall I would say is quite good I have used this to break up concrete, chop out plaster and to drill large pilot holes. It does the job quite well and the 5 amp battery's last surprising long.
The torch well you always get one , but still is really useful in confined spaces and it comes with a hook which you can use to suspend it from ceiling and trusses masking it ideal for attics.
The circular saw has great power and a good size blade the fittings s are sturdy and there is no play in the adjustments when screwed in tightly the saw is nice and light and you don't have to put your fingers anywhere near the finger guard to start like some others the only bad thing I would say is that the fence provided is a little small for me and that the guard is plastic. It performs well but be careful when the battery is low as it will just stop mid cut without a lot of warning.
The jig saw is great over all I use it all the time sadly to my knowlage there is no variable speed which would be nice but to most people it doesn't really matter.
If you get this set get it with the 5 amp battery s they last longer and is you drin them quickly then the twin charger can happy charge your battery's in an hour.
