Isn't actually magnetic in any way

While it's a decent pickup tool, I could detect no magnetic field in any part, and the seller replies simply claiming 'the base' is magnetic. I have no idea what they consider 'the base' but you'll find that it's just a regular spring steel pickup tool. You can magnetise it if you desire but I bought a second one with a big magnet on it to fit that job.
