Missing top trim piece
I missed this when I ordered.... and want others to be prepared. This does not ship with the top stainless steel trip piece. (It does ship with the bottom one). My previous model had the trim on both top/bottom, so I expected the new one to match. You can order the top trip piece separately, but it will add $50+- just be aware....

Won't work unless you have a Thunderbolt port!!!!!!
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm a Mac person, but I purchased this to connect to my work's HP laptop (with the assumption it would work with it). It does not. The HP laptop does have Type C, USB port (that looks and feels like a Thunberbolt port), BUT WILL NOT WORK, no matter what adapters you try. You MUST have a Thunderbolt port on your PC computer to even attempt to think about figuring our how to make it work with a PC. I gave up trying to make it work with the HP laptop and connected it to my iMac, and works perfectly!
