Simple and effective

I got these bike hooks to save space in my shed, the screws that came with them were more than adequate for supporting the weight of the bike. The hook has a rubber cover over it to protect the wheel rim. The overall finish is matte black. The hook itself is welded in place so will only mount on the wall one way but doesn't really effect the way the hook is used. Great value for money.

Great value but some modifications needed.

Pros; The rack fitted onto my mk4 golf hatchback perfectly, the 6 straps are sturdy and the metal hooks on the end are coated so they do not damage paint and big foam pads where it rests against the car. Also folds flat for easy storage. Cons; Although the rack fits the car it's a bit awkward to fit the bike on, the rack is pretty wide so my specialized allez 54 just about slides on. The red clamps are made from pretty good flexible rubber but they are moulded in such a way that unless you have a very very skinny tube, like one maybe from the 90s then your top tube won't slot in properly. There are ties attached to the clamps so as long as you can wedge it in some shape you can tie it down tight. If you have a dremel tool it wouldn't be too difficult to just grind away at the clamp to open it out a bit. Overall I would definitely recommend this product and should something happen to the one I have now I would re buy it for sure. Excellent value for money if you don't mind modifying it slightly.

Its "OK"

Quality of the pump's main body seems good, the tube is pretty thick so looks like it will last a while. The operation of the pump is somewhat mediocre, when the handle is fully extended it is wobbly and does not seem very sturdy. I managed to pump my tyres up to 100psi relatively easy however the pump only seems to manage to pump at the very end of the stroke at this pressure, I feel anything above 110psi would be unattainable. Also the attachment to the valve is quite tight, especially with the presta type valve you will need to be careful removing the attachment. Overall I would rate this pump 6/10 Pros; pump is lightweight, does the job (just), has both presta and Schrader type attachment and it costs a few quid more than a large meal at burger king. Cons; build quality could be better, if your looking for something to pump 110psi or more I doubt this would do it and even getting to 100psi probably took around 15 pumps. (From 60psi).
