these are not toys
The plastic props and canopy on these models break off very quickly- I would not recommend these as playthings for toddlers. They come with stands for mounting the model which is exactly what they are intended for- looking only. The undercarriage is non-existent and the bottom of each plane is panted sea grey. That said, they are die- cast with decent weighting and are highly unlikely to break or shatter. The decals seem to remain well stuck on with no sign of peeling.
Four months later and the Lancaster has disintegrated and broken into pieces with the body coming away from the wings. The plastic propellers on all 3 models have come off and the plastic canopys, as already mentioned, are long gone. Again, be clear- these are not toys.
