Excellent value for $200AU in 2019
0 of 2 found this helpful Installation of AM4 CPUs is more difficult than LGA115X, for someone who doesn't have steady hands. Use the boxed cooler or a cooler that uses screws, not the AMD latches, they are unwieldy and leave marks on the heatspreader.
This CPU can operate with DDR4 ECC UDIMMs on certain Gigabyte, ASUS and Asrock motherboards, but ECC isn't 'supported' or validated by AMD, and ECC UDIMMs aren't binned like Gamer DDR4.
This chip is good buy for 2/3s of the price of the Ryzen 5 3600, if it comes with the cooler, in late 2019.
