A4 Landscape Seawhite Black Cloth Hardback Sketchbook.Quality Artist Sketch Book

Seawhite pads ROCK! Better than cheaper alternatives
I LOVE Seawhite pads, they don't leak ink to the other side, they even take some abuse with ink/water and watercolour - the latter be careful that it doesn't soak through but light watercolour or ink brush should be OK. Was already using the A5 regularly, on my second but the A4 is ideal for landscapes and urban drawings and using it all the time atm.
This was a replacement for an old WHSmith pad from decades ago which I've now sadly almost filled. The modern WHSmith pads aren't as good, but the Seawhite ones come close to that quality - indeed the paper is better I think.

Great phone, some slight niggles but very good.
14 of 16 found this helpful My old HTC Desire screen died for the 3rd time (a regular fault on those machines) so I decided to go top of the range - the Desire Z had not very much memory or CPU - this phone has quad core, 1Gb RAM and 16Gb internal memory.
I'm pretty happy with this phone - it's fast and much lighter than my older phone, the screen is great and battery life although could be better obviously uses 'deep sleep' modes because it doesn't eat battery like older phones even on standby.
THe GPS is good, the sound is great (and video plays flawlessly, even some MP4s I've ripped), it comes with a headset headphones which if like me you only had a iPod/iPhone pair will come in useful. No case though.
Unlike the HTC One X you can switch the battery and microSD, which is required really if you want to easily get files onto it or go for long trips. You can buy cheap extra batteries and chargers already.
S-Voice is cute but as pointless and dysfunctional as Siri was - hope it gets better. The other S-apps are much of a muchness. Flipbook is nice, although it forces you to select a group of it's choosing before G-Reader/Twitter/FB etc. I'd rather just have those.
Smart Stay - not sure this works, tried it and it turned off!
You can easily have many apps opened - only see a slight slowdown while doing big downloads or when it's just booted.
Camera is great, fairly good in low light, although I miss a hardware button. Love the front camera for self portraits! Keyboard can be a little fiddly, but I guess I'll get used to that or get a bluetooth keyboard.
Widgets could be better: used to being spoiled with HTC, but the Samsung lot seems rather weak. I ended up going back to my old Android Pro Widgets - I mean why no 4x4 People widget? Or proper 4x4 News/Google reader widget? At least there is an Email one, and messaging is cool.
A few niggles - currently it doesn't connect that well to Macs. It uses the MTP/PTP protocol and my Snow Leopard won't bring the drive or SDCard up like my previous phones. You can get round this with slow software from Android, but better is to use EasyUMS app that switches you back to the old UMS mode! That only works for the external SDCard - oh and the internal memory is named 'sdcard' so be prepared to be confused at first looking for your files - they are at mnt/extSdCard/.
The next niggle is support - Samsung support unlike others doesn't seem that great - they require you to send in your life details (address, IMEI, place you bought it, etc) before even answering a question. Not good. Also they seem unlike other phone manufacturers to be trying to lock down or monitor the phone re; rooting - if you root you see 'modified' in About, and might get a triangle on the boot screen. There are ways to reset this, but it does seem odd to start emulating Apple in it's monolithic nannying ways.
Another, more of two reminders - the phone is micro sim so you need to get the scissors out or ask you provider to swap to one. My network did this for 10 quid, which I preferred rather than possibly wreck my sim. Another general one about ICS is if you're on a low data plan switch off Picasia sync - it's in Google sync settings in Accounts and Sync. Really don't know why Google puts this on as standard, but I burned through 1Gb in a few days without real
