Modem appears defective
1 of 2 found this helpful Spent over eight hours trying to set up this modem. It was to be an exact replacement for the same modem provided by Century Link only much older. Century Link as of this date does not sell the C1900A VDSL2 modem, it only leases them. I was hoping that one obtained from a third party would save me a leasing fee. Modem does not "hold" any wireless data for very long. It also disables the wireless network adapters on my two laptops. It works fairly well when connected by cable but unreliable. Century Link is uncooperative in its reauthorization/provisioning procedures. Modem would not work consistently when connected to a desktop computer and two laptop computers. Modem is lacking one firmware update. Equipment well packaged and received in a timely fashion. Sorry to have to return this modem as it appeared to be a good value.
