Useful range of tools
I use these for sculpting DAS to make scenery for a model railway.
I liked these so much that I bought another set as a present for one of my family.

Easy way to move Pci-e card to a non standard location
1 of 1 found this helpful If you have a small form factor computer, there may not be room to install a pci-e card directly in a pci-e slot. This cable allows the card to be relocated as desired.

YAMAHA RM1X mid life upgrade
Sticky buttons, or those that need an extra hard press, or are not reliable are common faults on the RM1X, not surprising as these units are now approaching 20 years old.
If one button needs replacement, you may consider it's worth replacing the lot, and this kit gives you all the parts needed; however, desoldering the old buttons takes skill and experience and it is easy to damage the delicate pcb tracks; those connecting the 2 pin buttons are particularly delicate, so you may prefer to only replace the faulty buttons.
These buttons are good quality, the 4 pin soft touch 'tact' buttons that go under the 'keyboard/note' keys are exact replacements for the original components ; however the 2 pin 'click' switches that replace the other switches are different components, with square rather than round bodies and requiring a slightly firmer press to make them work. Nevertheless, they do the job. I would recommend checking each switch before installation, as I found that one of the 2 pin switches supplied was faulty, as it had no 'click' action. Fortunately the kit includes several spares of each type.
This kit represents a convenient and easy way to get hold of the necessary parts, and there is well informed, expert advice available from the seller if needed. Recommended.
