Nikon 17-35 tragically underrated
2 of 2 found this helpful Incredible lens for the price if you understand it's limitations. This is my favorite lens to leave on my camera and I love wide angle shots. If you shoot it wide open at night for astrophotography or in bright light then check the corners you will find falloff and softness. However, for half the price of a used 16-35 the compromise is worth it. It's so well made it's a work of art. You can find morons on YouTube babbling about how bad this lens is all day long but if you actually like to take pictures you'll love this lens. There's a reason why nikon still makes it today.

Great value, can't beat it.
Just bought this little unit as an entry level GPS and what a great value for the price. It doesn't have all the new bells and whistles but with Magellan Vantage Point software is easy to use and I've already been able to get my kids out Geocaching with it. Very accurate, waterproof and light. The only gripe I have is I bought the Unit with the Adventure Pack which included National Geographics TOPO! Explorer software which was supposed to include TOPO maps but Nat Geo no longer fully supports TOPO Explorer. However, you can still download 7.5 minute topo Nat Geo maps through the Vantage Point software but you need a subscription for $30 a year. Removable SD cards mean you can load lots of maps and the back track feature rocks. Overall great value for the price and I don't have to worry about the kids or I breaking it although so far it has been indestructible.
