Have used this compass for years!
Have used this compass and its brown predecessor for the past 16 years as a Search and Rescue K9 Handler and Training Officer. I have found this compass to be very accurate, even through setting up the dozens of navigational courses for my team! I recently bought the True Arc 20 from Brunton and pitted it against my older version 8099 compasses (both the brown and the green case) and found the True Arc was off, so I ordered another 8099, even though discontinued and used. I love this compass!
