Display is glaringly bright even on low setting
0 of 1 found this helpful The display is terrible - even on the dimmest setting it blares out the light. I'm in my 50's and got my first clock radio when I was 15. As far as this being a object to sleep next too forget about it. I am beginning to wonder if the one I've been sent is broken because in the picture the display is mellow. However it definitely in not. If you want a clock radio without too much light avoid this. Just to add, you can turn the display off altogether but the point I'm making is that the display technology is cheap old technology Ione should expect to pay 9.99 for at best.
