If you're focused on music or video entertainment, these JBL Studio L890's are fantastic! Great definition, tight strong bass, Amp high 110-130 WPC...
The title says most of what these speakers are about...
Although, It's worth mentioning that you will want to drive them with a high powered Amp. at least 100 WPC I'm using an old school Pioneer Elite with 130 WPC @ 8 Ohms. You can and probably will do damage to them with a less than superior Amp. cause they are higher end, therefore demand higher wattage to drive them properly. Once they have been placed properly, about 2-4 feet from the wall, (Two walls are better, like a corner wall) depending on your particular home floor plan, to bring out the bass as well as the highs, which are spectacular with the additional "Super Tweeter"!... Really nothing too serious to say about them; other than, They're High Power front/main speakers, excellent build quality, looks really sharp in the overall home A/V Hi-Fi system decor, excellent highs, mids and really good bass (for 2, 8" inch woofers) the price is comparable to Polk, Klipsch, Yamaha and did I mention they are JBL's, the name is still (dating myself here) after 20-30 years synonymous with excellence in both quality and sound reproduction...
Thanks for reading!

Good reference standard for DVD movies, but music is where All (ok, most) Yamaha's are leaning towards
If you're interested in other or older formats, on better audio platforms, Yamaha is one of 4 that is a "hard to fail" option (others are: H/K, Sony, Pioneer) Seller is also fantastic. Sounds rich and clean/clear

One of the better if not best of the receivers to have for music people who love it loud and rocking!!! Even compared to today's tech. Old school....
Outstanding Powerful Kicka_s bass!!!
