Nylog works!
Using Nylog on all my fittings enabled my pump to achieve near perfect vacuum. Makes flare connections almost foolproof.

Compact, simple, yet capable
1 of 1 found this helpful At this price point I was prepared for some disappointment, but the sharpener actually works very well. It took less than 10 minutes to sharpen a 60 tooth carbide blade, once the fiddly setup was done. And that's why 4 stars instead of 5; the adjustments are a little crude and some seat of the pants intuitive nudging is in order. But, for anyone a little handy that way this machine is a really good value and it will do the job just fine. It's well enough made to last; it will do much more than just pay for itself. The instructions are decent, written in proper english. There are also a number of videos on youtube showing the setup procedure; well worth watching to speed up the learning curve.

Excellent for intended purpose
This camera is well designed and built, with a good heft; it doesn't feel like a toy. It's also not a replacement for a full DSLR but then it wasn't meant to be. For those who simply want to take their photography up to the next level from basic point and shoot, this is it. Features like 100x zoom, panorama, hd movies, wide angle, are easy to master and give the user lots of creative options. I haven't tried all the various filters and effects yet so this camera will keep me learning for a while yet. I can see this will be my go-to camera for the foreseeable future.
