Regular charcoal with a couple of large lumps.
The bag I received with the exception of a couple of large lumps doesn't appear any different to regular retail charcoal. I wouldn't buy again given it's more expensive.

OK for home use!
I bought this as a bit of a filler to go with some catering quality serving trays. For the price this is OK, however it is suitable more for light home use to serve food on rather than the catering quality tray's that you can also use in the oven. But for less than £3 delivered you can't go wrong, as it's a lot more substantial than the cheap foil trays.
