Professional finishing tool
4 of 4 found this helpful If you've ever tried to silicone a sink/ bath / counter tops etc, then you'll know just how hard it is to achieve a really satisfying edge over tiles and other finishes. I have used this item over and over again, sometimes cutting it to achieve a perfect line behind a constricted space such as taps, but at this price you just buy another one and keep the 'modified' one for a later job that needs it!
I would say that a little practice with the filler is paramount as you'll find you need a lot less than you think. So the idea is to run a line of filler along the two surfaces (which MUST be clean and free of any dirt or water) and then run the finishing tool along the same line taking care to try and keep a smooth action to the end. Any faults or missing filler should be rectified and gently run the tool again. With practise I found I could achieve a result that would have cost a bomb without it.
Hope this review helps a little!

Great piece of kit
Great diagnostic tool and a very good investment for identifying faults. I used it to find a wheel sensor problem and then changed the dodgy sensor on my VW. then cleared the fault and all's well.

In budget and seems good quality
In budget and worked a treat VW charged me £360.00 quid to replace the near side sensor 2 months ago ! I purchased a reader ( Here on Ebay ) for £70.00 and the whole job to replace the sensor was half an hour ... well pleased
