Good replacement part.
Fitted the switch to add cruise control to Mk1 Audi TT.
It fitted as a replacement to the original Audi stalk with all cable plugging in easily.
In use it has the same feel as the original stalk.
I hope it lasts as long as the original which was still going strong (16 years).

Good device if you have an old ipod
I fitted the connects2 ipod adaptor to an Audi TT Mk1 with Concert 2 player.
The car already had a cd multiplayer installed which this adaptor replaces. If no multiplayer is installed, on the TT the car needs recoding to use the connects2 device. Make sure you have the radio code before starting although I never disconnected the battery from the radio and so didn’t have to add the security code.
As mentioned on other forums, the round plug connector on the ipod lead had bent pins on arrival which I checked and straightened with tweezers prior to trying to plug it into the connects2 box. Fitting was straight forward as to the instructions but on the TT there is not a lot of space behind the radio and it was difficult to place the extra plug and wires in a position where the radio would plug back in. I fitted the ipod in the glovebox with the connects2 box behind the radio enclosure. Fitting took just over an hour.
I have a spare ipod and iphone4 to use with this device as the lead is the old apple connector not a lightening one.
To get the unit to work with an ipod, create 6 playlists, SWITCH off the ipod, connect to the adaptor and switch back on. The radio then recognises the ipod as a multiplayer. On the concert2 it does not show the name of the track and CD being played, just the CD number (playlist 1 to 6) and mp3 track number.
On the TT the ipod charges all the time even with the car off but once charged current drain should be low or I can unplug the ipod after use.
In summary, the unit works well once installed and I would recommend it.

Quality paper - Looks great.
Good quality paper. Goes up really well. No pattern match is also an advantage.
Colour has a tint of grey but is still light and bright with a subtle hint of glitter. I have also used the same make before but taupe which is a bit darker.
Would definitely recommend for any room.
