Weeds fields and gardens brilliantly
Really makes light work of digging up weeds with long roots and large crowns. Particularly helpful for those wide thistles that get through your gloves! I'm steadily going through weeds in the field and this makes an enormous difference - almost a pleasurable job!

Lovely true story of a librarian taking his books to a poor community on his donkeys
Fabulous true story about a poor South American family and the significant impact of a librarian who carries his books on two donkeys. It challenges us to remember that we have wonderful free libraries here, which we take for granted and don't support enough! Lovely drawings in this hardback book. There are also free curriculum resources for schools to use with pupils, developing learning and thinking around the book.

Good for hooves and taste like treats
Although it's really difficult to prove whether an animal supplement has made a difference, I think that these have really helped to strengthen my donkeys' hooves. Having had such a wet winter, it's been really difficult to keep seedy toe at bay (impossible) but I was recommended by the Donkey Sanctuary to give each donkey one of these daily and they seem to have improved the situation. The donkeys love them - the peppermint flavour is perfect - and regard them as treats!
