Microsoft Xbox 360 E Launch Edition 250GB Black Console
    22 Nov, 2021
    Better than Xbox Series X
The original Xbox, Playstation 2, and Gamecube were my entry systems into the world of Gaming. I have many, many fond memories playing on these systems in elementary school with a few friends. The Xbox 360 however came out during the very start of what would be the most important years of my life where I turned from kid to adult. From 5th grade, to a full year after graduating high school, this was the console I had. Of course friends had Playstation 3's and Wii's, but the Xbox 360 was exactly what I needed. Halo 3, The Outfit, Gears of War, Bioshock, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, and many others. Unfortunately, too many people nowadays get offended by everything, and a lot of restrictions have been put on the gaming industry. While some of the ones I mentioned would still be fine, there are many others that wouldn't fly in today's world. That, on top of most modern games being stale and redundant... make the newer consoles very boring to me (other than the Switch for Smash Bros and Zelda games). I say all this because to me, the Xbox 360 was the golden age of gaming, and I'm not sure I'll ever be interested in another console. I tried the Xbox One and hated it. The games, the interface...all garbage. You might as well get a PC for gaming (which I have, but this is about consoles). So if you're looking for a console, definitely go with an Xbox 360 (slim or later edition).
Eneloop XX AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries 4-Pack

    Best damn batteries ever.
A few years ago I was looking for rechargable batteries because I used to have a wireless game controller. I got tired of spending so much money on regular batteries. I did a bit of research to decide what the best rechargable batteries were, and eventually settled on these. I never did end up using them for the controller, but instead, have used them for flashlights. One of my flashlights is a very highpowered light that is more like a spotlight, compact into a nice MagLite-sized unit. The instructions pointed out that with the flashlight on High power, batteries wouldn't last more than 1 1/2 hours. I used these batteries in that flashlight on High power for more than 8 hours, and only then did the flashlight start to get a little bit dim. Also, as the package says, these batteries retain 75% of their charge even when not being used. It is very true. In the 2 1/2 years that I've had these batteries, I've only had to recharge them twice. It's alien technology. I would have bought 20 of them if they weren't so darn expensive.
