The Nikon 85mm Perspective Control Lens is a great lens... pricey too
To own this incredible lens and not have a lens hood on it is a mistake. First, pictures will come out better with a hood attached. And, the hood may protect the lens in the event of a fall... that I know for a fact.

Does it have a weakness? Yes, it is manual focus and difficult to use for fast moving action shots. But then again, sometimes blur fits the moment perfectly.
