Generic Laptop Battery
This low cost replacement battery looks the part and appears no different to the original.
It did, however, initially resist installation. The moulding of the connector was not 100% accurate but, with slight trimming it now fits perfectly.
I have fully cycled it, between 100% charge and 5% several times and the capacity is now topping out at a little over 2 hours. This is as expected for this price-point.

Excellent value for money!
This remote is not programmable, so question 3 is N/A.
Though it does not duplicate all the functions of the original, it's OK. The actions of the buttons feel like they won't last long, but neither have any of its predecessors.
It is much lighter than the Sony original, which is nice.
