An excellent bit of kit
1 of 1 found this helpful The Roku 3 is easy to set up. Connect with an HDMI lead to a Smart TV. Connect to your internet hub or wireless. I use a hub with a wired connection using the mains to make the link from the Router to the Roku 3.
Subscribe to the services that you desire e.g. Netflix, Sky. Nowhere TV etc. Do this on your computer.
The Roku 3 is easy to use. Once plugged in to an HDMI connection on the Smart TV you will see that you can select the Roku as a separate input device so that it does not conflict with a recorder or cable TV box. Selecting programmes is simple. Hundreds are available.
These devices are going to replace the main Cable TV providers. Essentially, you only pay for the service that you want for a limited time. 'NowTV' is available - this is the cheap version of SKY where the contract to watch a package can be limited to a short period.
I have not yet found a downside for this product.
