good for the job

I used this for meeting minutes. It was easy to set up and pause recordings in a meeting and did not need an external microphone. Having recorded the whole meeting it is easy to split the recordings so that sections can be accessed; there is then an easy find facility for fast forward. It is supplied with a quick start pamphlet in 85 or so languages but a manual can be downloaded from Sony website. Sound quality is very adequate with headphones. I expect you may be able to use your mobile phone instead if you were so inclined but this is purpose designed so much less hassle and no Apps.

Fit for purpose

This porringer arrived promptly and was fit for purpose. The top part does not stand well alone as the handle is heavy and it will tip when empty or when filling, so they have to be used together (as designed), in other words, you haven't got two pans for the price of one.

Fine headphones at reduced price as used.

The headphones had been used but this was advertised and thus expected. The headphone system was simple to set up and work well. The system does not allow a user to listen, and others in the room to hear sound, it is a personal listening system only as headphone sockets always seem to mute speakers. The headphones are not comfortable for long periods if you wear glasses.
