Roland UA-22 Duo-Capture EX USB Audio Interface

Works with Linux
This device will be recognized by newer linux kernals out of the box, just plug and play. My only regret with this device is that there is no way to truly bypass the preamps (so using a mic-preamp is sorta out of the question). Its a really good interface, especially for the price. Depending on how professional or production-flexible you want to get with recording audio, you might want to do more research to decide if this is right for you and for how long.

GBA SP Great, NES Look just a small plus
The GBA SP is by far the best handheld game system thus far. The library of games it boasts is beyond count, and a large portion of that library are quality games (everything from the original Zelda to Mario World to the Sonic Advance Games and more). The "Classic NES" look is geeky-plus, but I would not pay extra money for it if you can find the regular SP for cheaper. IF there is a significant difference between the regular SP and the NES one its that this is a first generation SP and thus its screen is side-lit and NOT backlit.
