Compact strong and secure axle stand

Axle stand is compact and strongly made, when at lowest height setting it is so easy to place under jacked up car, secure the adjusted stand height as the key insert secures selected height of stand from accidental interference with height mechanism when car resting on the stand.

Poor quality mouse traps

Clearly no quality control, 2 of the 3 traps ordered could not be set as either the retaining pin too short or the pivot loop to which the pin attached in the wrong position.

Fitting new Al-Co side friction pads

Please note recommend new o-rings as well as old ones will probably be damaged or in poor condidtion when extracting the old pads. Fiddly putting new o-rings in place and recommend a smear of silicon grease on end of shafts of the new pads which will make fitting the new pads much easier.
