Petrol Lawnmower Self Propelled RocwooD 173cc 20" Mower Mulching Plus FREE Oil

Good solid product.

I've used a 26" ride on mower for the last 25 years, so I wasn't too keen on walking behind one. First impressions on opening the box were better than expected. Only the handle needs assembly, which was straightforeward, because the instructions are good. It has belt drive to the rear axle and direct drive to the blade, front axle is sprung.. It all felt well made and solid design. 600 ml of 30 grade oil is provided. 400 ml is required to fill sump. Fill petrol tank and push plunger 3 times, pull starter cord and away she goes. Engine is quiet and smooth. It has plenty of power and torque. There are 7 height adjustments. I used number 4 for my lawn and it breezed through it as quickly as my ride-on. I tried it on a patch of rough grass and nettles at number 7 and it munched its way through. Well pleased overall.

A good quality pod, perfect for mounting my heavy camera.

I needed a support for a heavy video camera, (Canon XH A1), but without the bulk of a tripod, for use on a podium which was on the back of a pick up truck and at this price it was worth a try. I was completely surprised by the good quality of the pole itself. The pan head is not much use to me as it's too sticky, but I don't need it. I cut the metal footrest off the bottom, greased the screw base and pan the whole thing, I lock the head in place for leveling. The pole is easy to extend and lock in place at the desired length. I extended the head handle with a piece of plastic tube to mount a remote zoom control,(Zoe Bebob). The 20x zoom can be used with confidence, even in a wind. I also use it with a Sony Handycam in its short state for use with fast moving objects such as aircraft, or long shots with 55x zoom. I am completely happy with it, it fits my purpose well and at this price you can modify it without worrying if it dosn't work out.
