7 year old card still a solid 1080p performer for $225, where are you going to find anything like this for less then $300?
The GTX 980 is a solid 1080p performer and can play most titles at 1440p however be prepared for the cards cooling fans to ramp up to 80% to keep it cool at that resolution. These cards before the 2020 crypto boom could be had for about $100-120 used anywhere. now you can't find one for less then $200. So at this price it's really not worth it for a 7 year old card but then again where are you going to find a card today with this kind of performance for less than $300
This makes this card a great value in today's GPU market. (Written 12/20/2021)
