Punch works easily for one hole. More difficult lining up two holes in line with each other.
It punches the selected size holes very easily, and is easy to use once you figure out how it works. I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but I figured it out pretty quickly. The only drawback I can see with it is there is no way to accurately line the punch up in an exact position. The metal plate butts up against a stop to secure it while you punch the hole, but if I put a mark in an area where I want it centered, it's a little difficult to have the hole punched there unless you place the punch on a hard surface, then contort your head to watch where the punch is going, and line it up by eying it. The punch also doesn't really set easily on a flat surface. You basically hold the metal blank in one hand and press the punch in the other. Just takes a little maneuvering to get it right.
