Nikon AF-S DX 18-135mm 1:3 f/5-5,6 IF-ED Lens
Use this lens on a Fuji S2 Pro Focus is fast and accurate and a considerable improvement in image quality over my older Nikon lenses a 28-70 and a 28-100G.

Nikon D5000 12.9 Megapixel Digital Camera
Having decided to replace my aging Nikon D70, it was a choice between the D5000 and the newer D3100. I finally decided to play safe and go with the proven technology of the D5000 with its D300s' sensor, D90’s AF sensors, and the D300s Gen 2 image processing, also D5000 as 5 D-Lighting settings auto bracketing and a quick response time. Have only had the camera a few weeks and using a Nikon 18-135mm AF-S lens I am very pleased with the results the camera focuses very fast there no delay from turn on to taking the first picture colours are bright and images sharp and the menus very easy and quick to use and the big bonus for me is that this is the first Nikon camera I have owned that does not need the auto exposure tweaking every time I take a picture. Having down loaded some raw images from the D3100 I feel I have made the right choice, this camera will satisfy my needs for quite a few years and I would not hesitate to recommend this camera to anyone.

Nikon D40 camera
Nikon D40 love hate relationship love the size and the large LCD screen and you can get great photos but you have to mess about with the exposure and sample photos set it to auto and virtually every picture is overexposed. I have an old Fuji S1 that meters right virtually every time so why Nikon could not do this with the D40 is beyond me. If the metering was better then it would be an excellent camera but as it is theirs to much messing about for every shot for me.
