Works
I usually use a needle-nose pliers to do the job, but had to file the points down to make it work. This tool is "another" tool in the box but it has this singular function. So, in a way it's another thing to pack, but it does its job very well.

Only good if you don't move
These work if you don't walk around... as in when you are sleeping. But, if you move around and walk, they "ride up" on the foot. These, unlike others, are not meant for active people. It would be recommended for sleep time and TV watching but not if you need to walk around.

Works well
Cut is very close and the product is holding up well. I'm waiting to see how long one set of batteries will last before needing to be replaced. So far, it's lasting a whole week with daily usage. I'm hoping it lasts a month, or more.
