1 of 1 found this helpful For the true audiophile the SHM format has subtle ameriliorations that you will appreciate - such as hearing the plastic on the keys of the synth on the solo of Black Cow. Or how active the bass line is in You Got The News - the pacing and dynamics are better. However these will be noticeable on higher end systems and not so evident on standard systems - though I did notice more aura in my pretty standard car audio system. I also have SHM for Dire Straights and Sting which have a noticable improvement over that standard CD
