Money saving DIY mirror repair

Exact fit replacement for broken glass on my 2004 F-150. Why buy the whole assembly. I removed old glass and adhesive tape then cleaned the surface. Applied double sided adhesive tape to this and installed in about as much time as replacing the whole assembly. Saved money
