Characteristically High-Quality Ink from Diamine
Diamine's inks routinely evince good saturation and consistency, and the green-black ink is no exception. In addition, it's hard to find ink of comparable quality for a lower price. Specifically with respect to this color, I would characterize it as "dark pine green." I'm not sure it's a color I would use in lieu of black or blue-black for business applications, but I plan to use it for my handwritten Christmas cards this year.

Superb performance, great appearance, and unbeatable bargain!
Pilot Metropolitan fountain pens are superb bargains. I now own seven of them, all with fine nibs, so that I can keep a full range of ink colors ready to go. The fine nib is very fine, equivalent to what some manufacturers would call an "extra fine," and I have not yet had one that was scratchy or anything less than incredibly smooth. Pilot's quality control is clearly second to none. The pens have a good heft and balance and, in addition, are quite attractive. I would consider them great buys even if they were priced twice as high.

Simple, Sturdy, Efficient
All my bridge club members have purchased this model of shuffler, which is indispensable to those suffering from arthritis, carpal tunnel pain, skin fissures or other ailments that make shuffling by hand painful or difficult. Its great merit is that it has no unnecessary bells and whistles: it shuffles the cards easily, quickly, and thoroughly. Since it is manually operated, it never requires a change of batteries. In my opinion, it would be difficult if not impossible to improve on this product.
