Detailed fun for years to come.
Fabulous OS walking map, 1:25000 scale, so shows all footpaths in great detail. It is big, and double sided, so difficult to open and read in a breeze, but fold it before you go and it will be fine.

Good sounds for small rooms.
Sat in our Static Caravan, this Micro Hi-Fi sounds very nice, better than using the TV for the Radio. Adding in the advantages of CDs, Bluetoothing the music from a mobile, etc, and it gets even better. Admittedly, it's not the same quality as our Denon system with Warfdale speakers we use at home, but you get something that's more than good enough for a 5th of the price.

A device devised in Hogwarts.
2 of 2 found this helpful An 8 hour flight to Dubai could have been so much worse, had it not been for these magical headphones. Once switched on, you can easily believe that the creator was from Hogwarts as virtually all external noise disappears instantly, leaving you in your own personal space, or making you think you've gone deaf. You can enjoy the in-flight entertainment with ease, comfort, and with relative quality. The soft ear cups fit comfortably around the ears, and I have big ears (don't tell Noddy!) I don't mind the in-ear type of phones, but my good lady doesn't. Having had the chance to fly business class with American Airlines, we were lucky to try these Bose units, and knew how good they were. As I said, the quality is more than good enough, as no device can do all things.
Overall, as Dubai was only a stop-over on the way to the Seychelles, we flew for around 24 hours, and all of it was on one set of Duracel AAA batteries, which is more than good enough in my books. If you want to enjoy a flight, and not have the drone of engine noise, then these Bose are magical.
