Zykkor/Albinar 77mm IR720 720nm Infrared filter
I purchased this filter for use on unmodified Canon T1i and XSi DSLR cameras. I have used various brands of IR filters of 720, 850, and 950nm ratings on these cameras with satisfying effects. I hoped to add a 720nm rated filter for my larger lens.
My first impression of the Zykkor/Albinar filter was that I could see right through it and it was not actually rated correctly at 720nm. In a simple test, I photographed a sample spectrum on my computer screen and colors from red to green were easily seen, something no 720nm filter should show. The seller, however, assured me it is an IR720 filter, as it is marked.
The standard for labeling IR filters is for light to pass at 50% at the specified wavelength. In this case less than 50% for light wavelengths shorter than 720nm, ie. visible light, and more than 50% for light longer than 720nm, ie. infrared. I have a HOYA R72 filter in a smaller size and I am comparing the effect between the two brands. The HOYA filter is black when viewed and only bright light can be seen through it. With the Zykkor/Albinar filter on my camera, the visible light overwhelms the IR and gives no IR effect, eg. no glowing trees against a dark sky. Another outdoor shot shows green bushes and plants, not glowing as is desired from an IR filter. The HOYA R72 filter gives the IR effect on both film and unmodified DSLR's.
This filter may work on a modified/ full spectrum camera since it will see the IR fully and show some IR effects, but not on a camera that is stock and still has the IR cut filter in place. As a low cost IR filter, I see no value in it since the most likely buyer is someone just trying out IR photography and not wanting to spend too much. Buying it for unmodified cameras is a guessing game which depends on how much IR is passed by the internal filter. Find reviews or online albums of the specific filter and camera combo you want to use to see if this filter will work. I rate it 2 stars for misleading labeling by the manufacturer which makes it unusable for me and a waste of my time. It may work for other cameras or situations.

VXSCAN TPMS tool worked well for 2010 Chevy Cobalt with two sets of used OEM TPMS sensors.
I purchased this to use on a 2010 Chevy Cobalt. It learned my OEM sensor positions on the first try. Activate learn mode, hold the button for 4 seconds at each valve stem and the car honks to acknowledge the position. I also tried a newer set of used, GM/Schrader ACDelco 23445327 and 13598771 sensors and those were learned to the car just as easily. I purchased this one on ebay because of the good and plentiful ratings and reviews on Amazon. The listing also stated that the 2010 Cobalt was serviceable with this tool. I confirm that it does work.
I do not know if it can program new or aftermarket sensors since the 9 sensors I have are used and all OEM GM sensors. Other products or procedures may not work as well with this device, but my review does not cover those. I am very happy with my purchase and I will save a lot of money doing this myself.
