KISS DP-1500 DVD Player
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this as I wanted a DVD player that was able to be networked into our home network. The player, once it had been updated with the latest Firmware downloadable from the KISS website worked really well, and a further download made it Region Free which is a prime requirement for me.
The quality of playback is excellent, with zoom in, pause and step functions all working well.
Unfortunately the networking part of the DVD player sucks. It is slow, unreliable and is prone to locking up for no good reason. In an attempt to improve this I disconnected the wireless card supplied with it and made a direct connection to the network. This proved just as tricky and unreliable.
As a DVD Player, excellent!
As a networkable DVD Player it leaves a lot to be desired.

Great Product
Well made in a sturdy aluminium case with large rubber feet. Was up and running within two minutes of getting it unpacked and the battery installed. In fact that was the hardest part.
GREAT sound quality and works well with the condensor mic I have. the phantom 48v supply is brilliant.

Simply the Best
Great product that is stylish and gives a great look to an already stylish phone. Protection to the screen is good and works well with the visible window showing alerts etc.
