A pretty decent upgrade on my D60
3 of 3 found this helpful So far this has been a wonderful camera, and coupled with Nikon’s f.1.8 35mm lens, takes some beautiful pictures.
It takes a bit of learning (and I can’t say I’ve mastered all the secondary functions that holding down buttons on the camera body provide you) but if you’ve owned a Nikon DSLR before, it shouldn’t take you long to get used to everything. Coupled with a hefty manual and loads of guides on YouTube, you’ll be well looked after should you need any help.
Other things of note: It’s great in low light (especially with the aforementioned lens); it’s fantastic if you’re short sighted, because in live view, you can zoom in to a section of your image and check it’s in focus before you take the shot/ start your video; i’m enjoying doing manually focused video too ( the criticism about its auto focus here is valid, but turn that off and go full manual, adjusting just the iso for different light situations and you get some great results) and the battery life is really good too.
Haven’t had a go at time lapse yet, but looking forward to trying it.
All in all, very pleased.

Great sound and build quality
2 of 2 found this helpful Really enjoyed listening to these so far. User experience is great, music has a nice kick to it, and audio makes YouTube and films sound better than any other headphones I've owned. Only real negative is when using them for calls. I've heard that the mic quality isn't great, but I wasn't expecting the call quality to be so muddy. I find it difficult to hear my friend when using them. Also, I was expecting them to be best in class when it came to noise cancellation, but after a few train journeys on the London underground, I've found them to be on a par with with my pair of quiet comfort Bose I bought 2 years ago. I do enjoy the sound of them more though and the fact they don't need batteries is nice.
