Quality product to rely on, manual range type
Quality construction, just compare this to any POS from Harbor Freight. Rounded plastic body to handle impacts. Sturdy manual range knob. Accurate. Prominent low-battery warning but the battery lasts long time. I use the 10A feature to check battery amps out if the voltage is "iffy" Issues with it: battery lasts because the display is unlit, can be hard to see under that car hood. No alligator clips so it is NOT "hands-free" - you must hold each probe against the contact for a good reading. Sometimes one can be inserted into a female blade connector - perfect fit. I bought two: a used 3306 and a new 3300 - one for inside & one for the car.

Quality battery that will last longer
"Compared with lithium-ion batteries, silver oxide batteries have a greater run time." This battery has a shelf life of 8 years. Made in Japan. I compared this to the very cheap looking "made in USA" battery at the store for over 3x the price.
