Great story and characters from a favorite author about a little-known episode of history.
I love this series and replaced a vhs version.

Impressive talent
I'm an "old folkie" who was delighted to discover Rhiannon Giddens a few years ago. Her singing and especially song-writing sometimes gives me the kind of "tingles" I used to get 50 years ago when I discovered a new, powerful, talented artist. I don't buy many CD's anymore, but this one I had to add to my collection.

Replaced an old friend
I bought this model about 10 years ago, so when the battery compartment door broke, and I shopped for a replacement, I realized that this same model was what I wanted, because of features and familiarity, and was happy to find a replacement at a good price.
