Not Genuine
1 of 1 found this helpful Listing is misleading to say the least. This is not a Genuine OE VW Part. The weather seal on the bottom and the lettering on the side when placed side by side with the OE part quickly make this apparent. However, the part is working for now, so I can't totally knock it, but we will see how long it lasts. I can recommend this part if you want a part that works, BUT IT IS NOT OE VW and a bit expensive for a knockoff.

Genuine Part and Perfect Fit
Outstanding VAG quality at a great price and free shipping. One 13mm nut removed from the shift tower, line up key way on splines when installing, re-torque 13mm nut and you are done. Took about ten mins and does reduce front to back movement and shift crispness noticeably.
