Tried and tested as my best all round lens.
I purchased this lens as a direct replacement for one that I have had for years. I mostly use Sigma lenses but use a couple of Tamrons for specific jobs. This Tamron LD 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 LD AF Lens is superb for use in my garden where I use it to photograph the birds that feed on my feeders. I have used the old lens for years but it has bocome a little noisy and the birds motine the whining noise and fly away. This lens was used and I got it for a tremendous price and hope it will give me many years of service.

Best Buy This Year
I realise it is only half way through the year, but I had to comment on this purchase. I saw the tripod advertised and thought it was a good price for an average looking tripod. How wrong I was; the purchase was a low price for a very good tripod. I needed one that was stable, ideal for both cameras, flashguns and heavier lighting and umbrellas, it fits the bill perfectly and is very stable even with it extended to the full height, which is also ideal for me as it brings my cameras viewfinder up to exactly my eye level.
I thought this was going to be a cheap model, sold cheaply but I found the reality is so much better than my expectations. The addition of a storage hook to hang the tripod out of the way when not in use and the carry handle just at the right point to make it easy to transport when folded and so easy to manoeuvre around with one hand when set up to shoot.
All-in-all I am very pleased with this tripod and might even replace some of my older lightweight tripods for some more of these, as this one is ticking all the right boxes for my uses.

Super bright and worth fitting in every part of the house where extra light is needed.
LED's keep getting brighter and brighter, these COB lights are super bright and will easily light a hallway if used as emergency lighting or the inside of a cupboard or wardrobe. I use them in my wardrobes to help with checking the colours when looking for clothes. Some clothes (deep red, brown and black) are sometimes difficult to distinguish between when the room is a little dark and without the main room light on. The crisp clear white of these make it so much easier.
