Samsung SH-224 Internal DVD CD Burner Drive Writer

Perfectly fine DVD burner

These devices are pretty ho-hum. This one works just fine as a replacement for one that died of old age ... a rubber belt stretched causing the tray to not eject properly. The nice thing about this drive is that it supports M DISC - which will be handy when I need to make a disc that w/b readable 100 years from now on the last working century old computer in some museum.

Nice capacitors

Seem to be very high quality. Capacitance and ESR are both good. Physically large for the value, so might be new old stock.

Bruel & Kjaer (B&K) 4165 1/2", 50 mV/Pa, Measuring Microphone + Case. Tested!

Gold standard measuring microphone capsule.

This 4165 works perfectly. It is over 40 years old, and still only a couple tenths of a dB down from it's original open circuit sensitivity. Bruel & Kjaer measuring microphones were and still are the gold standard. These capsules are not immune to damage from moisture or rough handling, but this one was carefully handled and stored so it should outlast me.
