Gigabyte Technology GA-78LMT-USB3, Socket AM3, AMD Motherboard

Flexible, versatile design; great for builders/hobbyists!

You can't go wrong with the GA-78LMT-USB3! At least the later versions of this motherboard support AM3+ processors, using from Sempron up to 8 core Phenom or FX processors, with 4 DDR3 memory slots allowing up to 32Gb RAM. Four DIMM slots allow you to build a system using two DIMMs, and add two more DIMMs later without trashing the original DIMMs (many motherboards only have two DIMM slots). In addition to SATA3, the GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard has an IDE connector, so you can connect up to two IDE devices (maybe an old hard drive, or DVD or CD drive that you can't use with most newer motherboard because very few include an IDE connector). With great prices on ebay and Gigabyte reliability, this motherboard allows you to build a system using IDE technology that isn't an option on most newer motherboards, as well as eight core processors and the latest SATA3 and USB3 components.

Great produce except there are no instructions provided

There are no instructions on the box or in the box. Because it has several parts (one moving part) and can be installed or vertical or horizontal surfaces, many buyers will not be able to install and use it. Otherwise, great features and better made and more realistic looking than most.

Compact and easy to work with!

I've built several computers with this motherboard. It is small enough to fit in all but the smallest cases easily, and is the only motherboard I absolutely prefer.
