This is a screaming fast chip
I upgraded my server from a quad-core 2.8Ghz i7 to this 3.46Ghz 6-core chip. HUGE difference in performance. Same TDP wattage.

Buy this drive cage!
I had been looking for some time for a trayless drive cage that works properly and still provides adequate cooling. This one fits the bill. It is VERY well ventilated for adequate cooling, including holes in the backplane circuit board to allow airflow. My drive temperatures actually went DOWN switching to this from standard internal drive bay storage. My only complaint is that the 2 power connector sockets are very close to each other, making it difficult to plug in 2 power connectors that are daisy-chained together.
