Bizarre spectacle saved by the music
The Beatles were the soundtrack to my teenage years and up to Christmas 1967 everything they touched had turned to gold. Earlier in the year their manager Brian Epstein had died from an accidental drug overdose and his controlling influence had been lost. The MMT project was Paul’s idea and bearing in mind that in the summer of 1967 The Beatles had changed the world of popular music for ever with Sergeant Pepper, The Beatles were indeed the toppermost of the poppermost.
This film was made on the hoof, unscripted and spontaneous. The editing process must have been a nightmare but probably saved it from complete disaster.
It was a first aired on Boxing Day 1967 on BBC 1 and was panned by the critics. Even diehard Beatle fans such as myself were disappointed. But wait... Back in 1967 TV was broadcast in grainy 405 lines, in black and white whilst the soundtrack accompanying the film was heard through a tinny little TV speaker.Fast forward 50 years and we have Blu Ray, full colour and Hi Fi sound. It does make a difference. It doesn’t change it into the Beatles best work but it makes it much more watchable. So slot in the Blu Ray pump up the volume and let The Magical Mystery Tour take you away. I am The Walrus was never better.

Great value 100% IPA (Iso propyl alcohol)
Buyers beware. IPA is often sold as 70% rubbing alcohol which contains 30% water and is less effective as a cleaning solvent.
This product is 100% IPA and is the best value on eBay.
It arrives quickly in a strong polythene bottle and is a great solvent for removing greasy marks as it does not attack plastics.
It is highly inflammable and should NOT be consumed as it is toxic. It should be used in a well ventilated area.
