Pros and Cons
A nice design but a few significant flaws: the product needs a proper assembly manual because the cramped instruction sheet only identifies the parts and, most importantly, does not provide understandable instructions on the complicated assembly of the base that holds the plastic tray. Furthermore, the tray is too short to rest securely on the narrow flanges so I will have to somehow extend those flanges to stop the tray from falling out. Also, one piece of the panelling had a protuberant weld which prevented it from sliding into its chanel and I was obliged to manually file it down to make it fit, effacing the powdercoat at that junction. When it came to fixing the feeding dishes, one of the 4 screws provided had not been milled and had no thread so I had to make do with a different sized screw of my own. Bottom line, a very nice environment for small birds but some shoddy finishing and the serious lack of useful assembly manual.
